Cargo Pants Dog Cooling Vest

Make a cooling vest for your dog that doubles as a backpack and costs as much as an old pair of cargo pants! Cut out the inside seam of the pants and cut out the main vest piece, straps and two saddlebag pieces according to your dog’s measurements. Sew the saddlebag pieces together, hem all the edges and attach snap fasteners to the under-belly and neck straps. Attach the saddlebag piece and straps to the vest and insert a flat plastic shopping bag between the layers for the best to be waterproof.
